Writing a character description using figurative language

Year 6,

Last week, you a character description of August Pullman from Wonder! by R. J. Palacio in our English lesson. Your description had to include figurative language. For your homework this week, I would like you to write a short description of your favourite book character, in response to this blog post, using figurative language.

Remember, figurative language can include similes; metaphors (joined the path of the river of sweat that cascaded down his cheeks); personification (stolen scarves danced around his legs) or hyperbole (the one that often put his neck on the line).

I look forward to reading your descriptions.
